A day that could have been disastrous turned out great. Reagan generally naps from 1-4/5 daily. Dinner was set at 3 and we were to be there at 1:30pm. We were a bit nervous to say the least. We set the alarm early and all got up in hopes of manipulating an early nap and........it worked! This of course lead to a much calmer Thanksgiving. Reagan may have only chosen to eat mashed potatoes for dinner but she loved pumpkin pie!

18 month visit - check
Reagan had her visit this morning with our favorite Doctor. Reagan currently weighs 28lbs 13oz and is 33.5in. She grew another 2 inches in 23 months and gained 2lbs. Her Doctor is very pleased with her progress. She was supposed to get just 1 shot today but turns out their shipment didn't come in yesterday so they were out. The good news is that we can wait til her 2 year visit to get it so Reagan will not be back to the Doctor until May although we'll be in there before then with Baby Girl. The only surprising thing was that when I mentioned that Reagan is still chewing on her fingers in the back of her mouth the Doctor said that her 2 year molars could be coming in early. We'll just have to wait and see.

The Weekend of a Toddler
As all weekends seem to be a blur lately this one was as well. Saturday we worked on a little more Christmas shopping and other then Reagan & a secret santa gift we are pretty much through. I know you are all jealous. Saturday we ran errands and then we went to a party at a wonderful friends house. As usual Reagan partied like a rock star until about 10pm.

Sunday was a bit more relaxing. Mom finally broke out the sewing machine to try and make Reagan a pillowcase for the toddler pillow that we found. Reagan enjoyed some cheetos a little too much and hung out with Dad to watch a little football.

Our Domesticated Daughter
So Reagan likes to do housework. Some of her favorite things to do are mopping/sweeping, laundry, unloading groceries and especially emptying the dishwasher. We're not complaining on any of these things. Might take us a little longer to get through tasks but they are well worth it.
Can't you see.....as soon as we set the grocery bags on the floor she sat down to help sort.
Look at all of those teeth!!
And when mom said, "When you finish your lunch you need to take a nap" she didn't waste any time. Can't blame her. It was hard to stay awake during that Texans game.

Trick or Treat
I think Reagan was made for trick or treating. We had a blast. She had no problem with walking right up to a door and either taking or accepting candy. While she and her friend Sarah might not have been able to say trick or treat they were happy to say hi and then bye and blow kisses once they got their candy. My favorite is when we got to a door and no one answered, that sent Reagan into a tantrum. The adults couldn't help but laugh. The girls ran all over. By looking at them you would have sworn that they were eating candy along the way. It was a great time trick or treating for the first time.
