Jack o Lanterns

As soon as October hit the girls kept asking to make jack o lanterns. Luckily Abby gets to visit the pumpkin patch at school and brought home 2 pumpkins. The kids picked out their faces and Dad got to work but not without a little help.

 Gross!

Abby refused to help clean out the pumpkin but was happy to watch.

Halloween Parade 2012

I love watching all the kiddos all dressed up at pre school.

 Abby & Lily

Lily & Emma Kate - Abby's BFF's.
They were never close enough in the parade for me to get one all together.

Zoo Boo 2012

As always we went to Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo. It continues to be one of our favorite Zoo events.

 Cinderella & Merida

Sarah, Jacob, Abby, Reagan & Jocelyn

I love this. As far as my girls are concerned any time with Sarah & Crissy is a good time.

Abby, Jacob, Sarah, Joe & Reagan

Our Annual Candy Corn Pic! See 2011, 2010, 2009 - Seriously, look at the cuteness in 2009!

So #3 is a...........................

It took us a long time to decide how we wanted to share the gender of #3 with the girls. We really wanted them to be involved. We finally decided to take them to the store and let them each pick out a different outfit. Reagan absolutely positively wanted a little brother and Abby was not going to be happy unless she got a little sister. The lines were drawn in the sand quite awhile ago and they've been fighting about it. Picture standing toe to toe and yelling in each others faces, "Boy!" "Girl!" and you have several months at our house.

So the night we found out after dinner we put the correct sleeper in a bag and let the girls open it. Watch the progression.

Poor Reagan was inconsolable for about 15-20 minutes. She screamed at us that we had too many girls in this house and how it wasn't fair. All the while Abby dance in circles around her and was happy to share the news with Grandma. It was the saddest yet funniest moment.

No worries as a few months have passed and Reagan has accepted that she will have another little sister and is excited to be the biggest big sister.

Houston Triathlon 2012

This was the worst triathlon yet. The weather was absolutely miserable. I turned out to be a cold and rainy morning. Unfortunately the weather on the news didn't quite predict that so we were a bit unprepared. The weather was so bad the night before that they cancelled the bike portion of the race. The camera didn't get pulled out too much because of the constant mist that we were dealing with but we got a few. Luckily we had a few friends to share the misery with.

 Here comes Daddy.

 Go Jason Go!

Cough Cough - I accidentally gave Abby Benadryl before the race
instead of Zyrtec which made for a sleepy cranky girl.

Reagan & Marion practicing their curtsies. They were SO cute playing together.

Coming to the finish.

Touch a Truck 2012

We look forward to Touch a Truck every year. The girls have a great time checking out all of the different vehicles and of course seeing their friends. Reagan was very excited to go back and see all of her friends and teachers at St. Cuthbert!

Getting a fire lesson (She's slightly obsessed with the idea of a fire at our house)

They always love the art car.

 Dad's favorite.

 This was Abby's favorite car.

Reagan getting a sailing lesson from Ms. Felicity.

I suck

Yep, I know it too. I'm going to catch up I swear. We had no idea how much our schedule/world would change with adding in kindergarten. It's been a lot to get used to and almost 5 months in we are still figuring out a new normal.
