Reagan, oh, Reagan. Though some of these could earn us a Bad Parent of the Year Award.
1. We found Reagan eating out of the dog bowls. As in, she was on all fours with her head down in the bowls just eating away with the dogs. She was quite mad when we pulled her up.
2. Dad gave Abby gas drops and said that he turned his back for 2 seconds and Reagan grabbed the bottle off the counter and drank it. Luckily it was a small bottle. No worries, she is ok.
3. She seems to have had a word explosion lately. It may not be constant but she will point and things and interact with shows on tv. She loves to tell Dad to put his "hat" on. She points out any "ball" that she sees. She also points out "bubbles" all the time. When Dora is on she says "backpack" and her favorite "there it is". When watching Go Go Go (Go Diego Go) she will say "click" so that the camera will take a picture. Today she said "thank you" on her own without prompting and said "please" every time she was asked.
4. Reagan found a pen and decided to write all over her arms.
5. Monkey see monkey do so watch out what you do in front of her. She copies anyone and everyone in whatever they are doing.
6. She accuses everyone of "poop". She will say ,"Ew, you poop?" She has even gone as far to check the back of my pants like I do to her! (See #5)
7. She sings and dances all the time. She loves to watch American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. We were watching Bring it On the other night and she wanted me to pick her up like a cheerleader. She will clap after performances that she likes and will sing along with some of the ballads.
8. She loves being a mommy to her babies. We call her Sextomom as she tries carrying 6 babies around and will sometimes line them all up on the couch. She feeds them and pats them on the back. They apparently also "poop". She is now trying to swaddle them as well. They all get a turn in a bouncy seat and the swing if Abby isn't using them.
9. She is a very loving child, to anyone. When someone comes in our door she will run up and give them a hug/kiss. She did this to our Dr at Abby's last appt. and she hasn't seen her in 5 months! She doesn't know a stranger which is a little scary but nice not to have the shy kid who hides behind our legs.
10. It's been said before but regardless of #9 she is such a loving sister. She talks, sings, pats, kisses, hugs and just loves on her Abby. When Abby cries she will attempt to put a pacifier in her mouth and will pat her and say, "Ok? Ok?"or recently "Ok bebe?". We're still working on saying Abby but it is certainly close to baby which we have just started to recently use.
