Go Texan Day!

We were invited to Reagan's school to go to chapel with her and to then do the Chicken Dance with the whole school. It was great to be able to see her in her class with all of her friends. She may have been most excited about playing with her horse that she made later in the evening though.

12 months old

About a week late but we got it done. We had Abby's 12 month appty the same day so it made sense, or that's what I tell myself. Abby is now 18lbs 8.75oz which puts her in the 15% (up from 3!) and she is 27.5in which is in the 10%, and her large head is in the 70%. She will obviously stay rear facing for quite some time, in fact she is still easily in the infant carrier. Dr. Nguyen found that to be funny. She also thought it was funny that she is still in 3-6 month clothes. Just a tiny thing but even the Drs thinks she has a big personality.

Abby has not been sleeping well for the past week or so but we knew she was teething. Before her appt we could see that the tooth had broken the skin. What we didn't know until the appt was........there were 4, not just the 1, teeth coming in at a time. Also, a double ear infection! Always good to have a reason to go with the crankiness. So now we're loaded up on Amoxicillan along with teething tablets and motrin. Hopefully once we get past this next week we'll be good to go.

Police Officer Day

Reagan had a police officer come to school. The office talked to the kids about not talking to strangers and not to open doors. But of course the best part was that they got to see a police car and see/hear the siren which Reagan told me was too loud and she had to cover her ears. Also, they got hats!

More time with Grandma & Grandpa

We had a couple of more days after Abby's birthday to enjoy with Grandma and Grandpa. We pretty much just hung around the house, spent some time outside and played Wii of course.

The day that Grandma and Grandpa left was hard. Reagan has just started to stop asking where they are all day every day.  Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for all of your help with the party and just for coming to see us. We miss you!!

Abby's Birthday Party!

We had a breakfast & pj party for Abby's 1st Birthday. We had a fantastic time and even had Grandma & Grandpa in town to celebrate!
