With the girls off from school and the office being closed what were we to do all day? We knew we needed the girls to take an early nap so we decided to bundle up and hit the playground to run off some energy. It was nice because we were the only ones there.
We headed back home to warm up and to get started on making Santa's cookies. So the girls put on their new aprons that they had received and we got to work with putting the cookies on the cookie sheets.
Abby did not quite understand the concept that we needed to bake the cookies and immediately tried to eat one of the raw cookies. When we stopped her we got her look:
On our second round that included chocolate chip cookies she quickly shoved one of the raw cookies into her mouth when we turned our heads. We couldn't do much other then laugh. Who doesn't love a little raw cookie dough?
The girls took their naps, at least Abby did, and when everyone was up we got dressed and went to eat at Maggianos. The food was good as usual however the company, er Reagan, was a little difficult. We headed home just as the skies opened up. It was a pretty scary drive home actually. We got home and everyone got into our new pjs that we received from Grandma and Grandpa. After that Dad read Twas the Night Before Christmas
and then we put out the cookies and milk for Santa and a carrot for each reindeer.
Bed time was easy and early enough that we were able to watch a movie! Reagan was quite happy enough to go straight to bed without any issue and even requested that we shut her door so Santa wouldn't see her. It was quiet as can be until the next morning.................
